I have been involved in radio in some form since 1993.  I earned degrees in broadcast media and information systems.  I was also one of the fledgling internet radio broadcasters of the late 90’s that had to contend with dial up internet and Real Media formats (i.e. the dark ages).  Being party to this I was highly involved in the development of open systems and the creation of a truly free internet medium.

I come from more of the hobby spirit of radio rather then the commercial one.  Despite my love for media I am an advocate of a much more diversified media industry then the one we have today.  I tend to champion campaigns for local diversity as opposed to homogenized markets.  I like long walks on the beach and dogs too.
